I've been doing a little bit of research here and there about SL stock markets... and finally made the leap. I've invested a few hundred L$ in the World Stock Exchange (wselive.com). It isn't something I'm going to pin any hopes too, but if I gain a few L$ out of the deal I'd be happy. I won't disclose the companies I've invested in, to avoid any insider trading issues. These stocks seem highly volatile, though, so it seems like more than a gamble than "regular" stocks...

It appears that the WSE is up and running strong. I purchased a few shares into most of the IPO's today. I also saw one of my friends companies (RDX) up there too. I didn't realize he was listed. The site is a little confusing at first trying to find out how to do things. One thing I would like to see is a graphical representation of how stocks have been doing. It's a bit hard to figure out just by looking at the raw numbers. If they had RSS for some of there features like the corporate announcements, I could keep in the know more easily. The companies are getting a lot of money. I saw Redux is putting the lindens toward 4 sims, 3 months tier, equipment, sallary, etc.
