The giant snail cannons have to be the best part of the race. The final race is made up of the winners from the first three races. All of them are very competitive. They were all shot together out of the first cannon and flew in the air as a super cluster of snails. This was a rare event that people usually don't see in the snail races. The activity is just packed with every part of the course!

The cannons on the race course shoot the giant snails to the next part of the course. The racers sometimes end up falling off of the edge of the course. Wiz Nordberg gives us some intersting facts that a real life snail has been clocked at a speed of .013 miles per hour. Giant snails in second life are much quicker.

RacerX Gullwing changes his Giant Snail race courses every so often. This latest course has a theme based on Alice in Wonderland. The last course that I was in had a the course outlined in giant gum drops. The first race I was in had giant ogres and ice. I was also in the giant snail race across the grid a couple years ago as well.

RacerX Gullwing has many tricks up his sleeve. During the race, I noticed that the seats that my friends were sitting on were moving along the side of the course. The bench was able to detect me and move to the same position that I was located. This is something that would practically be impossible in real life. I got third place in the last race. Next race is about to begin and this time I get to sit down and watch the race.

You get to dance on top of your trophy. It's a little hard to see with the fireworks, but it's amazingly fun to be here. I know almost all the folks in the stands and in the race. I LOVE SL.
