As the eye ball scanner reports information to us back on the ground, I debate some ideas on how to speed things up with results. Once it got above 40 meters, there was simply nothing much in the sky for it to detect. Radar has given me some good advice such as reporting percentage of completion, and total prims found so far. I customized the scanning range to be 7.5 meters. 10 meters caused it to pick up more than 16 prims at some spots. Later i'll have the box send out a separate scanner to rescan those areas in smaller incriments. Perhaps sending out multiple scanners for large areas would help speed things up as well.

I stepped up the scanner to detect items every five meters. If at least 16 are found, then it sends back a message indicating the area that I should look at for refined scanning. Perhaps I'll make it send a message to have the scanning box send an additional scanner to the area with precision scanning. Razzap Snookums stands by interested in how the product works. I talked to him a bit about the reports that it sends to the debug window. So far, I'm missing 63 items out of 1283 when I total up all the prims it found. I need to find out what I'm missing.

Crap Mariner had a little request for me to scan a parcel and list out all the item names, how many prims they contained, and their positions. It sounded simple enough. After a while, I had a eye ball prim that would scan the parcel for me. One problem that I ran into was the slow speed. I ended up with an eye ball hopping along a beach looking for items in the sand. It was able to find a few things, but at a relatively slow pace. I don't have all night to wait. The next step is to have it scan large areas and narrow its scan down to individual quadrants when it finds 16 items (the max). Mighty interesting tool to play with.

Why is it that every now and then I end up in negative cordinates? I don't know why i'm falling to begin with. I was just standing there in my skybox minding my own business. I switched windows to browse a few products on SLX and BAM! I come back to find myself falling out of the sky. What gives?
