I tried The Great Grid-Wide Goldrush. The same folks who made the Goldrush are now offering the Great Grid-wide Easter Egg Hunt. It works much in the same way. Parcel owners purchase/rent eggs. They hide them and have the option of putting a landmark and prize inside. Egg hunters use the egg hunt website to find parcels participating in the egg hunt. They find the eggs and get entered into a drawing that awards L$ each day. The more eggs they find, the better there odds at winning. They also win the prizes in the eggs when

The Great Grid-Wide Goldrush

I was looking for ways to drive traffic to my parcel and found a sort of scavenger hunt game. As a parcel owner, I purchase a golden nugget. This is considered sponsorship. I drop in a landmark saying where I would like visitors to arrive. I also have the option to provide a price to be given to anyone who finds the nugget.

People do not need to register or buy anything to play. A vistor comes by and finds the nugget. The touch it and get the prize plus a SLURL to the next location of a gold nugget. The money comes into play at the end of the week. One lucky person will be chosen at random to receive the jackpot. The more nuggets they found, the better their chances.

One Way Prims

For anyone who is interesting in building a maze (hint, hint), this little product is sure to be a-maze-ing. I find that I can only walk through these prims in one direction.

I thought maybe I could try and trick the script and walk backwards as soon as I came out the other side. The prims were a solid wall.

I thought maybe it was some kind of push script, but when I stop half-way in the wall, nothing is pushing me foward, and I can walk backwards.

I really want to know how this works. Perhaps I should get an alt and do more tests to see if both sides are blocked once I walk through.

Out for a Spin
Exploring the neighborhood via personal hovercraft. Need to figure out some better system to handle the abrupt disaster of running into banlines though.
