Radar Masukami and I talk shop about the Second Simple Syndication (SSS) protocol. This is a very short version of the RSS protocol. It was needed to cut down the weight of RSS so that the titles, content links, and podcast links could come through. LSL scripts are only capable of reading a little bit of content.

I sent radar a few copies of files that were updated in the transition to PHP 5. The xml objects that PHP used in version 4 had been renamed and work differently. In addition, I had since updated the code to transform RDF and ATOM into SSS.

Checking out the nice water effects with the graphics settings on ultra. Something I could never experience with the crappy intergrated graphics of the old laptop. However with the nice Nvidia 9500 of the new Acer, the effects are sweet.

I ported Eliza over to LSL script the other day. This chatbot simulates a therapist. It recognizes a few key phrases and asks questions, sometimes rephrasing what you just said. Eliza can be funny sometimes, and at others - downright insulting. But hey, it's a parady, so why not have some fun and bring it into a group. The code is free on the LSL wiki site and you can get a copy at my store in higgins free (full perms).
