Fascinating sculpture that would be impossible in real-life. S-curves with balls on the end overlap and twist in a pattern . . . looks awfully Medusa- ish!

From Science Friday, I clicked on a landmark to Physics and Astronomy island. This display shows the Zodiac, and is near a walking scale-model of the solar system as well as a set of information boards describing how astronomers learn about the universe.
