Players at Smokin Aces are risking their second lives by using caging guns and other attack weapons not part of the official game. Other players are using scanners and other tools to help in their quest for bounties.

So I decided to check out this new game called Smokin Aces. You get a gun and a HUD to play the game. There are a few safe places like the hotel lobby where you start out and learn about the game. The HUD gives you a bounty list of 5 people to hunt down and kill. It tells you what sim these people are on and the bounty placed on them. I had some fun shooting at Sherry. Dieing is simple. You don't return home, you just fall to the ground. You go back to the hotel, or another revival point, to get ... revived. Kudo's to NBC for actually making something interactive and grid- wide. Looks like they understand the concept of SL and how it can beneifit them.
